Eclectic Victorian

Together, the honed granite countertops, stone and metal backsplash and the Cheng stainless steel hood make a strong contemporary statement when entering the room while the cherry and walnut custom cabinets retain the traditional feel of the rest of the house. Space planning and custom sizes made it easier to house kitchen appliances out of view but still accessible for everyday use resulting in a better functioning kitchen for this professional couple. The small countertop at the storage wall houses a moveable island and accommodates a guest or two while the hosts prepare a meal.

By converting the existing Powder Room and Laundry Room into one more efficient and organized space a less cluttered Breakfast Nook was realized as well. Blending contemporary and traditional finishes strike a balance that compliments this family’s lifestyle.
