House of Grace

Carey & Co has recruited students from the West Valley College Interior Design Club, an ASID Student Chapter, to help in the design of a better environment for the women in the CityTeam Ministries – House of Grace Recovery Program. House of Grace is a unique program where addicted, abused or homeless women with children can rebuild their lives without separating mothers from their young children. This is a comprehensive residential program that offers vocational training, addiction education and relapse prevention, parenting skills, basic life skills, spiritual growth, counseling and educational opportunities. House of Grace is a place where women are taught how to rejoin the mainstream of community life where they can become productive citizens supporting themselves, their families and their community. As a result graduates can re-enter society with skills, positive attitudes and goals for their future.

As interior designers, we realize that the environments we create can influence the attitude, well-being, health and happiness of our clients. Our team has taken the initiative to help others build a better life by designing a safe haven that promotes balance, achievement and positivity. Please help us fund our endeavor by donating to CityTeam Ministries/House of Grace Interior Design Project. Visit http://www.cityteam.org/san-jose/house-of-grace/ for more information.
